Commatag Solutions GmbH is an agency for IT, software and web development based in Kuchl near Salzburg, Austria, founded in 2026 by Juliane Mohr and Philipp Hasenbichler. We design, build and run websites, software and SaaS products, such as our own product CompelioX. Design, development and operations come from one small team with a single point of contact.

What kinds of projects do you take on?

Commatag takes on websites, web apps, SaaS products and IT solutions, from a single marketing website to a full software product. We are not tied to one hosting model: as SaaS with us, in your own cloud, or on your infrastructure on site, depending on what data protection, network and internal rules require.

What is CompelioX?

CompelioX is EHS compliance software by Commatag for companies with several sites. It brings assets, fleet, hazardous substances, employee trainings and inspection deadlines into one system, computes a compliance score per object and site, and produces every record as a document at the touch of a button. CompelioX launches in 2027; interested companies can register for the launch via the contact form.

How long does a typical project take?

A website takes Commatag 2 to 6 weeks as a rule; web apps and SaaS products take several months. A one-pager is done considerably faster than a site with extra features or a login area. After the first conversation you get a schedule with milestones.

Every project gets a fixed price up front; ongoing support runs on a monthly hour budget. The price is agreed before we start, with no surprises on the invoice. You can spend the hour budget freely on maintenance, changes and new features.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes, Commatag offers maintenance, monitoring and further development after launch. Your product keeps running reliably and keeps improving instead of standing still after handover.

Can you work with our existing team or codebase?

Yes, Commatag works alongside in-house teams and picks up running projects. We adapt to your technology and workflows; code reviews, handovers and clear documentation are part of it.

Which technologies do you use?

Commatag builds with React and TypeScript on the front-end and Node.js or Symfony on the back-end, run on reliable cloud platforms. We pick the stack to fit the project rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all solution.

Do you also design, or only develop?

Both: Commatag designs and develops, including print media and graphic design. Design and development sit under one roof, so there are no awkward handoffs and the product looks as good as it works.

Commatag works for companies of every size, from sole traders and mid-sized businesses to large corporations, in the Salzburg and Tennengau region and across the German-speaking countries. Collaboration happens on site in Kuchl or remotely; the project language is German or English.
